Parents are grief workers

By July 13, 2023 News
Parents are grief workers.
We hold space for our kids as they move through the world’s ups and downs, providing them with a safe place to land when they come home.
Foster parents are all that and more — holding space for a the unique grief that comes from family separation.
Regardless of your opinions about the custody case, when you’re holding space for a child, you have to hold space for their love and potentially complicated relationship with their family of origin, too.
It’s not always easy, but it’s the most loving thing you can do.
We’re here to help.
And, we’re looking for others to help too.
