Amanda Pine - New TFFC Development Director
Welcome, Amanda!
Please join us in welcoming the newest member to the Tidewater Friends of Foster Care team.
Amanda developed a passion for child welfare from a young age. Her father was in the foster care system, and was able to move forward to overcome many hardships due to the support of his foster mother, Shirley. Shirley remained a figurehead in Amanda’s life growing up, and inspired the Pine family to become foster parents Norfolk.
Amanda has her BA in Sociology with a concentration in Anthropology from Christopher Newport University along with an MA in Christian Education from Union Presbyterian Seminary. Amanda’s background is in church work, and she continues work in the community through her work as Co-Chair of Interfaith Alliance at the Beach.
