The summer of 2023 will go down in TFFC history as our largest summer camp season yet!
In 2022 we sent 92 foster youth and their siblings to 281 weeks of camp.
This year, we sent 128 foster youth and their siblings to 552 weeks of camp. We almost doubled last year’s numbers!
The children ages 5+ went to YMCA camps Red Feather, Arrowhead, and the sleep-away Camp Silverbeach. They also attended camps ranging from soccer, to art, to martial arts camps!
It makes us so happy that so many of the youth we serve got to experience camps this year. It’s thanks to our incredibly generous donors that we were able to have this massive bump in numbers this year. We were able to go from offering 3 weeks of camps to 6 weeks of camp to each child.
We can’t wait to see what the summer of 2024 might hold!
